ECO-FRIENDLY SOIL STABILIZATION: A COMBINED APPROACH USING LIME AND WASTE EGGSHELL POWDER

<p>In recent years, geotechnical engineers preferred environmentally friendly and sustainable techniques to improve the engineering characteristics of expansive soil. This paper focuses on comparative study enhancement in properties soil using lime waste eggshell powder. A series laboratory tests such as Unconfined Compressive Strength Test, pH test, Free swell Index Swelling Pressure California – Bearing Ratio test Atterberg’s limit were performed for evaluating behaviour with both individually together. The experimental results showed that combined admixtures significantly maximum value compressive strength at inclusion 9% 12% powder was observed be 306 kPa. pressure treated up a reduction till 2.32 3% In all tests, exhibited greater efficiency when compared individual eggshell. Thus, investigation confirmed efficient use optimum percentages soil-stabilizing material made them suitable field applications.</p>
